Baylor University Achieves Historic Fundraising Milestone
Baylor University has announced its most successful fundraising year to date, securing $244.5 million in contributions. This achievement significantly advances the "Extend the Line" initiative aimed at ensuring ongoing affordability for students.

Baylor University recently concluded its most successful fundraising year in its 181-year history, with a remarkable $244.5 million contributed by supporters during the 2026 fiscal year. This record-breaking sum demonstrates the strong commitment of the Baylor community to the university's mission and future.
Nearly 30,000 alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and other generous donors contributed to various university initiatives. These donations support academic programs, research endeavors, endowed faculty positions, student life activities, scholarship funds, resources for missions and study abroad, and athletics, among other critical areas.
A substantial portion of these funds, specifically $80.5 million, is earmarked for the "Extend the Line" fundraising campaign. This vital initiative focuses on maintaining the affordability of a Baylor education for both current and prospective students. The university's goal is to raise $250 million for "Extend the Line" by 2030, and they have already secured nearly $140 million in just over a year, putting them well on track to meet this ambitious target.
